Indoor Gardening Diary Log #2

If you have missed out on our previous log which highlights Day 1-15 of the basil seedlings, please read here before continuing on this post.

Day 16 [2022 Dec 28 | 11.55am]

The seedlings were growing strong and healthily, occasional sprinkling of water was essential to nurture the basil seedlings.

Day 18 [2022 Dec 30 | 11.00am]

As the seedlings grew bigger, the charcoal pellets dried up faster and a regular watering routine was important for the seedlings to survive.

The humidity dome was definitely our ‘best companion’ throughout this period as it helped to retain moisture when we were not around to take care of the seedlings.

Day 23 [2023 Jan 4 | 8.40am]

We came back from the New Year’s holiday 🎆 and guessed what we saw!

Tiny leave have sprouted in the middle of the seedling! We were delighted and happy to start the year 2023 with this precious moment! 🎉

Day 28 [2023 Jan 9 | 11.05am]

Happy growing 🌱 ! With the additional leaves at the tip of the seedling, it now looks like a miniature green rose instead of basil herb (laughs).

Day 30 [2023 Jan 11 | 8.50am]

A month flew by just like that and the basil seedlings are 30 days old now 🤯 ! Even though seedlings don’t speak, we really felt a special bond as we recorded and observed them throughout the month.

We will be shifting them to a bigger pot soon, and do stay tuned for our next update!
